For this particular furniture piece, we paired reclaimed oak wood from deconstructed barns for the plank-style top with brown maple wood for its base. The base is stained in a rich shade of Ebony and gently distressed at the edges to give it a worn appearance. A clear pre-catalyzed polyurethane finish is applied to the top and base to protect the wood from everyday wear and tear.
